ASN Convention 2024 Travel Stipend Call for Applications


Ukraine on Campus will offer a number of travel stipends for students to attend the Association for the Study of Nationalities Annual World Convention this May 16 - May 18 at Columbia University in New York, NY

The Ukraine on Campus project, through the support of Razom for Ukraine, is pleased to offer travel stipends to students looking to attend this year's annual ASN Convention. Travel grants are available to partially offset the costs of Convention attendance.

Ukraine on Campus seeks to support undergraduate and graduate students as they engage with ASN and the leading voices in the study of Ukraine present at the Convention. The project promotes emerging experts on Ukraine and student activism and engagement to further the study of Ukraine’s history, culture, and identity. Students at all levels of study and expertise are encouraged to apply.

 Requirements: 

Following the Convention on May 19, the Shevchenko Scientific Society will host its 150th Anniversary Conference, titled "The Shevchenko Scientific Society in the Context of Ukrainian Intellectual History." We encourage stipend recipients to attend as part of their trip to the ASN Convention, if possible. More information can be found here
